Pierre Gauthier went to work last night reacquiring Paul Mara from the Anaheim Ducks. In exchange for Mara Montreal traded a 5th round draft pick in the 2012 draft. Habs fans will remember Mara from last season, who played in 42 games before going down to a season ending shoulder injury. The 6’4”, 211 Lbs defenseman, native of Ridgewood, New Jersey, currently has a $750,000.00 contract and will be an unrestricted free agent at season’s end.
