Despite previous reports about the potential lineup changes for tonight's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Jaroslav Spacek will not be watching the match from the press-box.  At the practice session yesterday, Alexandre Picard had been paired with Andrei Markov while Spacek played alongside Ryan O'Byrne.  This led to speculations that Spacek, a veteran defenceman who is going through a tough season debut, would be a healthy scratch against the CBJ to make room for Picard, who has been fairly impressive and consistent.   Today, this was confirmed to not be the case.  Head Coach Jacques Martin indicated that he spoke to Jaroslav Spacek and indicated to him the need to be more consistent on ice.

This is not to say that there won't be any changes in the lineup. In fact, Dustin Boyd, who has been a healthy scratch for the last few games, will be returning to the lineup tonight and will play alongside Lars Eller and Maxim Lapierre.  Tommy Pyatt will likely be the healthy scratch as Pouliot-Darch-Halpern have been playing extremely well together.  It's unlikely that Coach Martin will break this line, especially after his indications to the media that he is looking to give this line more ice-time.  No other changes are expected.
