The penalty early in the third period allowed the Griffins to break a 2-2 tie game to take the lead with two power play goals from the major infraction.

Points haven’t been coming in as quickly and often compared to the start of the season. The ‘Dogs have had only four wins in their last ten games, allowing other divisional teams to get back in the race for the division lead. After completing a disastrous road-trip, there’s nothing half as pleasant as coming home again. On another note, before the start of the week, 24 of the 39 games played have been one-goal games. That’s more than half the games played in which the decision could have gone either way, not a pleasant stat at all.
